[Magazine Ad] Free Android 3G Mobile Inside

The Oct 5 print edition of Entertainment Weekly, features a digital ad promoting CW network's action shows The Arrow and Emily Owens and M.D.. The cool thing about it, is that presents a LCD screen with short clips of the two shows, and when it is over, starts showing up live tweets from CW's Twitter account.



But, hey. Wait. how come it can show live tweets? And wait! Showing video clips inside a printed magazine isn't amazing enough?

No, folks. It is not. If you tear the magazine appart you will find a custom-built smartphone-like Android device. Manufactured in China (Yup, by Foxconn). The device has LED screen and 3G connectivity: WITH a T-Mobile 3G Card! That's how. And also it has a camera, a speaker, a smartphone-sized battery and a full QWERTY keyboard hidden - and even a live USB port.

A complete phone! Free! The guys at Mashable site did some research and found out to be an ABO smartphone with Android 1.5. Today it is close to US$90. But the magazine is cheaper than that - no worries.

[Adrian Storey] Let the Poet Cry Themselves to Sleep - 東京の眠い

C'mon. Is she dead?

The british dude, Adrian Storey, rooted in Tokyo, starts a project in 2006 called "Let the Poets Cry Themselves to Sleep". It is kind of a problematic scenery chronicle about Japanese society. He states for BBC (translated quote):

"I think there is two sides about "people sleeping in the streets phenomenon". First, is quite incredible that a 13 million inhabitants city can be safe enough to sleep without worrying about being robbed or something even worst. But, there is situations of alcohol abuse, stressful works, family departed and behaviours assigned by other cultures only to youth."

I really don't get the last line at all. Keep in mind that I'm translating a post write in portuguese. Yeah, that means probably someone translated it from BBC. And I couldn't find the original article to get a clue. But, anyway... I could research a lot of images to illustrates what we could not understand by reading. So please, have a look.

In Brazil this pic would be of a barefoot dude.

However Storey was quite stunned about his second point being totally neglected in Japan. He said that the shadowy aspect of his project was obscured by "how wonderful is to be safe enough to sleep at streets". The photographer does not have individual stories of each photo, mostly cause he does not awaits the models to awake and babble it out - and probably the majority was drunk enough to do not remember which country they were - or just missed the last train.

Storey pretends to transform this project into a book. Quite interesting.

I don't know. I don't even know that there was a Saint Seya called Omega airing somewhere in the globe. You can see the Pegasus warrior at your right, but it is not Seya, it is Kouga.

Ninja Golf was produced in 1990 by BlueSky software. It is a mix of a platform golf simulation with scrolling beat 'em up. The cover says it all. check out the video. Why the frogs?

She is Анастасия Шпагина (Anastasiya Shpahyna), 19 years. Born in Ukraine. I've read something about her on articles about girls that want to be like barbie and stuff. But right now I read an article with her name on it, stating: she lives like a manga character. Now, now... I bet you could wait something like this coming from Japan. And say things like "Oh, Japan again". Like when the SOUTH KOREAN Psy appeared...

...anyway...

She is from Ukraine, and are not under radiation effect and not even with breast wild open air fighting against world oppression - or maybe nazi undercoated motives behind - cof*femen*cof*brazil. She is just being her.

What tickles my brazilian male nipples is: it is freaking wrong. You can see her real eye and a pencil stroke all over her cheek. You can close your eye to avoid details, and still you gonna see a cross-eyed doll.

And the articles goes deeper saying that she even choose a name to be called: Fukkacumi. The manga girl. That's not a manga girl. It is close enough to that cursed dolls that I used to kill at Castlevania. :~~

BUT the way she chooses to looks like (externally - which I understand as an external, free and direct communication~caring you or not~ to the world and people who inhabits it) is kinda of different (freak or strange can fits here, as awesome if you like this style. Is up to you).

She have to deal with it. Stop thinking "people think I am strange". Darling... you are! You make it up to look that way. So, deal with it. You can live like that, but please, endure your choices. [Cute Puke] Justin Bieber Live... uh...throws up?

A video pops up on internet about Justin Bieber trowing up on stage at Glendale, Arizona, this Saturday (29). This show is part of his United States Believe tour.

Apparently he had to get out the stage about two times, but do not cancel the gig at all; and the crowd seems to do not care about it. What is the big deal about some macaroni with potatos live jet, anyways? They were listening to the music at all, so yeah. There was worse things going on.
