Children of Bodom new shirts

Here are new designs for Children of Bodom shirts.
My personal taste says that is a little too much "dirty", but i kinda like the needled 24/7
"The designs were done by Sami Saramäki who was already responsible for the covers of the last three Children Of Bodom studio albums, as well as Chaos Ridden Years - Stockholm Knockout Live. He also said on his website that he won't be the cover artist of the upcoming Children Of Bodoma album Blooddrunk. -ScythesOfBodom"

It's not known yet when they will be on sale.
So if you want to buy it... Keep an eye at HateWear!

Rumor: GameSpot Editor Fired Over Kane & Lynch "Low" Review

Wow, this world is such a weird place. You have a site were people do review about games, but if the review is too low and if the site survive with ads of the publisher of this game..the guy that made the review is fired. (=

There is a rumor in Kotaku, Game|Life, and a comic at Penny Arcade about that eff Gerstmann from Gamespot has beenlet go cause he give a 6,0 to Eidos Kane & Lynch.
The problem inst the rate at all, but the "tone" of the review.

But you can see in Gamespot banners of Kane & Lynch evrywhere. "Allegedly, publisher Eidos "took issue with the review and threatened to pull its ad campaign."-Kotaku"

Now lets think about Eidos side. If you were an enterprise, and sell a product X. And put it at the supermarket newspaper. But the supermarket make a note sayignt that your product is a "normal/6,0" game, and your enterprise is expending too many efforts in advertising... isnt fair uh? You have to take out your ad from there, you will burn money with bad ad. =/

The Editor side. You make reviews for a site. They trust your job and tell you, give the fair rating that you really think. And so you do, and you are fired.

Gamespot.com; You have a site with guys making reviews, you trust them. But one of them make a low rating about an "supporter" of the site. What a moddafucka, get the fucka out here.

Us... who will we trust in a world ruled by money after all? Why spend time reading beauty review and buy a game that is 6,0 thinking that it is a 10?

Well... i cant think nothing more. This business world is too complicate, i gonna play some games!

I think that Sony should not be so happy about this, the scenario isnt very good at all
"Overseas, I don't really see the PS3 doing that much at Christmas time primarily because it's still more expensive than the other machines and has less software, It's nice to see the system selling much better than six months ago. But is it a sustainable trend? Is it going to really escalate from here? I'm not so sure."" KBC Securities analyst Hiroshi Kamide said.

Silent Hill 5;The Lantern and the Radio are back.

PS3 - Silent Hill 5 developed by The Collective and published by Konami will be launched in 2008.
The classic objects that were mising in SH4 are back! Yeah, the lantern and the radio. The fear of the dark and the enemy detection come back to your nightmare dear friend.
And the new main character was a hunter when he was young, so he is better for battles, better then the older main characters.

Silent Hill series for me is amazing because of the soundtracks! Akira Yamaoka is a genius! (=

The PS3 "Savior "Need to sell like hell.

The playstation 3 since his launch till now, is living on red signal alert in the game market.

"As of October, only 2 million PS3s had been sold in the United States, compared to 5.2 million Wii consoles from rival Nintendo and 7.2 million Xbox 360s from Microsoft, according to market research firm NPD."¹

Sony bet that Metal Gear 4 will increase their selling. Metal Gear 4 is the last game of the exclusive generation. The game is developed by Konami and it will be launched in 2008, and Sony are counting the days. But do you believe this will really save playstation 3?

For Sony the "third party" deal is great!
"We're telling our fans that if you want to play 'Metal Gear Solid 4', you have to buy a PS3," said Ryan Payton, the assistant producer of the game.¹
But for Konami this deal is probably a great headache.

"Payton said the new "Metal Gear Solid" needs to sell over a million copies on the first day it goes on sale due to its costly production, but that may be a tough mark to hit given sluggish PS3 sales. (...) A year after its release, only two PS3 games have sold more than 1 million copies, a benchmark of financial success for a big-budget game."¹

"That's why most publishers are reluctant to give a high-profile game exclusively to one platform, unless the platform holder provides the publisher with incentives (read: bags of money and lots of marketing support). Nevertheless, Konami doesn't feel like it's being limited by releasing MGS4 exclusively on PS3.
(...)
"The PlayStation brand has always been good to us, and we're pretty bullish on the PS3."said Payton"²

So maybe the Metal Gear 4 really save Playstation 3, but if dont... who will save Metal Gear 4?

Super Nes Game Advertising

Advertising is a funny thing to be analyzed. If you get some old advert it could looks awful, but in the time that was published was perfect. A good advert can really mark you with some image or funny message giving that nostalgic feeling. But some adverts can be so shameful with confusing message and hilarious artwork. Games Radar makes an analysis of some Super Nintendo advert antiquities.

"And we're sure 'veteran' gamers will feel inclined to agree as they browse the next few pages, where we've generously gathered a veritable gallery of game advert antiquities. (…)Youngsters feel free to join the merriment and see just how bad the good old days really were..."

The revolution of action

Everybody who likes action and RPG will really like Cabal Online. This MMORPG has fights controlled by the NumPad; giving possibilities to the player do awesome combos, without having to wait his time to attack, and time to be attacked. The way you get experience is… yeah, killing weak monsters. One by one till you full your gauge of experience and upgrade your level. And you also have a skill gauge that works the same way as the XP gauge, killing monster till fill it, and then you can choose which skill you want to increase. Depending the combat style you choose, different abilities will be available. In Cabal Online have six combat skill to choose for your character; Warrior, Bladers, Wizards, Force Archers, Force Shielders and Force Bladers.
I tried a Blader in my seven days trial, in each account can be created six characters. When I reach the level nine, I discover how to make quest there. I feel pretty stupid to discover it after being there three days playing, but I was so fascinating with the combos and environments that I complete forgot to chat with NPCs. The quests is easy and well rewarded (XP), you can gain level easily in the beginning.

The down point there is the chat box, with tiny letters. It is almost impossible to read something there while fighting, and if you forgot the chat menu active (pressing enter to type) and were surprised by a monster, you will see your character passing through a hard time while you were typing in the main channel "111122221111222" - trying to fight in NumPad. Other thing that I really don't like there was the locations names. Desert Scream, Bloody Ice and others like that… this kind of names don't give a depth to the game.

A good thins is that the PKing receive sever penalties increasing each level of Pkilling, with the possibility of ending in some labyrinth prison for more then 2 hours.

The Game is pretty cool in combat system, you can also gain SP dancing. Yeah you can dance there. But the cliché among the other things is exactly the same. NPCs with problems = quests; kill weak monsters to get stronger to kill new weak monsters that were strong before. You can buy new skills (the same way you buy weapons), and be delighted with the great environment created there. You have to pay attention to the view mode, or you can be lost there. And don't forget to make the quests to receive the maps, or you will be really lost there. But anything can be forgiven while you have fights like this;
