1979 – 2020 † RIP Alexi Laiho
The first name for this blog was College Crew. Based on Children of Bodom's Hate Crew Deathroll album. I don't need to explain how Alexi "WildChild" Laiho has influence on the new name, do I? haha
Alexi grew his career on metal, as I grew as a metalhead fellow. He was an important part of my development as human being. Never give a shit to the others, have fun, never give up, do the best with the best.
When Children of Bodom disbanded in 2019, I always had the hope the guys would meet up again at some point and that would make some sense with my life somehow.
Because that was the relation I had with Bodom and Alexi. Always something made sense. A connection. Every fucking time. Now it is over. I have to keep on with no more connections.
Another band I will see live no more. Another talented artist that goes away too young.
Unbelievable painful to write this. To write down his name in the RIP title. To black and white his picture.
My heart is empty. Go, Alexi. Hang out with Peter Steele. Thank you.
