I unexpectedly found the creatures - all manner of birds and bats - washed up along the shoreline of Lake Natron in Northern Tanzania. No-one knows for certain exactly how they die, but it appears that the extreme reflective nature of the lake’s surface confuses them, and like birds crashing into plate glass windows, they crash into the lake. The water has an extremely high soda and salt content, so high that it would strip the ink off my Kodak film boxes within a few seconds. The soda and salt causes the creatures to calcify, perfectly preserved, as they dry.
I took these creatures as I found them on the shoreline, and then placed them in ‘living’ positions, bringing them back to ‘life’, as it were. Reanimated, alive again in death.

Sometime ago warchildPost talks about a girl who wants to resemble a manga character. Do you remember? But guys. The world is so freaking big. Anastasiya Shpahyna or Fukkacumi got a friend, and not a japanese culture stuff. Not more nor less than a Barbie girl.

Born in 1991 at Ukraine, Valeria Lukyanova (Валерия Лукьянова) is graduated as Architect. But her real deal in this world is to be known as Live Barbie. She got into a lot of plastic surgery and some heavy cosmetics and got this look.

I really can't figure why she is so into this Barbie stuff? Maybe some attention? Anyway... if this works for her. Whatever. Hope she is happy with it, at all. Look at her without the Barbie make up. Look at her face. She is damn pretty by herself, ya know.

But look below: she looks some Square Enix character.

She claims to be an idealistic and perfectionist person. She just wants to reflect the world inside of her. She also have a friend called Dominika who is a fashion designer that makes her outfit and stuff. But the make-up is a herself doing. She claims this to be an act of "perfect herself". She also states that people try to hurt her photoshopping some photos. But she warns: don't give a flying fuck. This just show that what she is doing is a big hit - is what she say.

I still prefer her with this "normal" looking face. :~~

But all Barbie needs its Ken, and if you, poorly normal girl, is passing a hard time finding your perfect-match-prince: for Barbie Live herself is not easy. Justin Jedlica, 32 years, from New York, spent about 100k dollars in surgeries to get this fancy look:

He claims to be Ken... but is looks like Fei-Long. Oh, Wait. Wrong Ken. :~

He was a regular weird guy, and after surgery he got some look... that... I dunno, weird also? Take a look at this before and after:

Before he at least looks like 1970s Ken. But now he looks like a beaten up travesty. But he is just like Dragon Ball Z's Cell. He really think that, now, got a perfect body and stuff.

The evil "Real Ken" states the Barbie girl is pretty and blabla but use a lot of make up. And for him, make up is something used just by Drag Queens. Wooahhh... C'mon Ken. Plastic surgery makes you above Drag Queens so? What would that be? A real deal Travesty with all its glory?

 Well, Ken dude. You really look like some homo villain from gang films. Or if I can promote you: a project of Fei-long from Street Fighter. But nah. You really looks like a "homosexual WOMAN".  This is not a bad thing. There is a lot of this girls out there being happy. So. Hope you had it in you also. warchildPost doesn't have anything agains't homosexuality at all, and it really encourage you to get out the closet and be happy as soon as you can. But to look like one unintentionally: that is the point.

Oh, fuck off this plastic world. As all you can see Barbie has no deal with Ken at all. But if I'm not mistaken, there is a guy called Bob somewhere isn't? Please Mattel, gimme a light here.
