The revolution of action

Pin It

Everybody who likes action and RPG will really like Cabal Online. This MMORPG has fights controlled by the NumPad; giving possibilities to the player do awesome combos, without having to wait his time to attack, and time to be attacked. The way you get experience is… yeah, killing weak monsters. One by one till you full your gauge of experience and upgrade your level. And you also have a skill gauge that works the same way as the XP gauge, killing monster till fill it, and then you can choose which skill you want to increase. Depending the combat style you choose, different abilities will be available. In Cabal Online have six combat skill to choose for your character; Warrior, Bladers, Wizards, Force Archers, Force Shielders and Force Bladers.
I tried a Blader in my seven days trial, in each account can be created six characters. When I reach the level nine, I discover how to make quest there. I feel pretty stupid to discover it after being there three days playing, but I was so fascinating with the combos and environments that I complete forgot to chat with NPCs. The quests is easy and well rewarded (XP), you can gain level easily in the beginning.

The down point there is the chat box, with tiny letters. It is almost impossible to read something there while fighting, and if you forgot the chat menu active (pressing enter to type) and were surprised by a monster, you will see your character passing through a hard time while you were typing in the main channel "111122221111222" - trying to fight in NumPad. Other thing that I really don't like there was the locations names. Desert Scream, Bloody Ice and others like that… this kind of names don't give a depth to the game.

A good thins is that the PKing receive sever penalties increasing each level of Pkilling, with the possibility of ending in some labyrinth prison for more then 2 hours.

The Game is pretty cool in combat system, you can also gain SP dancing. Yeah you can dance there. But the cliché among the other things is exactly the same. NPCs with problems = quests; kill weak monsters to get stronger to kill new weak monsters that were strong before. You can buy new skills (the same way you buy weapons), and be delighted with the great environment created there. You have to pay attention to the view mode, or you can be lost there. And don't forget to make the quests to receive the maps, or you will be really lost there. But anything can be forgiven while you have fights like this;
