There is a rumor in Kotaku, Game|Life, and a comic at Penny Arcade about that eff Gerstmann from Gamespot has beenlet go cause he give a 6,0 to Eidos Kane & Lynch.
The problem inst the rate at all, but the "tone" of the review.

But you can see in Gamespot banners of Kane & Lynch evrywhere. "Allegedly, publisher Eidos "took issue with the review and threatened to pull its ad campaign."-Kotaku"
Now lets think about Eidos side. If you were an enterprise, and sell a product X. And put it at the supermarket newspaper. But the supermarket make a note sayignt that your product is a "normal/6,0" game, and your enterprise is expending too many efforts in advertising... isnt fair uh? You have to take out your ad from there, you will burn money with bad ad. =/
The Editor side. You make reviews for a site. They trust your job and tell you, give the fair rating that you really think. And so you do, and you are fired.
Gamespot.com; You have a site with guys making reviews, you trust them. But one of them make a low rating about an "supporter" of the site. What a moddafucka, get the fucka out here.
Us... who will we trust in a world ruled by money after all? Why spend time reading beauty review and buy a game that is 6,0 thinking that it is a 10?
Well... i cant think nothing more. This business world is too complicate, i gonna play some games!
