Metal Gear Solid - Thanks...
Kiefer Sutherland replacing David Hayter as the voice of Metal Gear Solid's Snake. The reason for such subtle change is because Kojima want an actor not just a voice.
“This time, with Metal Gear Solid 5, the themes are a little different from previous games in the series. We’re taking on some very heavy subjects such as race and revenge. I wanted Snake to have a more subdued performance, expressed through subtle facial movements and tone of voice rather than words.”
Some fans got pissed, another ones understand... but the most notable was this video by Rick Boer saying thanks for David Hayter work. Pretty well produced. A lil scarier somehow... looks like a real doll. :~~

The Greatest Shows on Earth - Brazilian Television
Daisy Donovan travels the world to meet television programs. This video is about Brazilian shows. Or about bundas.
I'm brazilian but not a television fan. I watch just for soccer. The most popular TV channel is Rede Globo. Then: SBT, Record and Bandeirantes(or Band). TV Cultura is the best (programs quality) Channel out here.
There is very popular programs such as 'Domingo Legal' (SBT) and 'Panico' (Band). But 'Na Mira' (Rede TV!), I've never heard before, tho. It looks like a hardcore versions of 'Datena style' (Band/Record) adding exposed deaths, lot of blood and with freaking inside Ads. This 'Datena style' started on SBT, on a TV show called Aqui! Agora! (Here! Now!).
They're using violence as entertainment and deny it. With a pseudo manifesto speech. Rede TV! is a pretty lame channel btw. Panico started there after migrate to Band.
In the end, Patricia Abravanel talks about the internet serving as educator to the mass, but I deny. People use internet to find still more shit. I really doesn't see hope for our masses yet. Unfortunately.

Pokémon Origins
No pikachu in the beginning, dude! This is Red in da house!
Pokémon Origins tells the story of the very first Pokémon video games, Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version. Tell the story of Red as he travels through the Kanto region, encounters Team Rocket, battles his rival, and challenges the Pokémon League! This highly anticipated four-part adventure is coming to Pokémon TV starting on November 15.
But now you are probably a grumpy bearded old man. And Nintendo will probably do something wrong focusing the new generation kids... *bearded grumpy man crying*
Anywaaayyyy, it is nice to see Red on the spots after so many years! :D
Talking about Pokémon, look this nice picture with pokémon games through the years:

Bayonetta: Bloody Fate - watch the anime version of the game
Bayonetta is one of the rare games that received a 10 from Edge Magazine. And also received a lot of complains about sexism. As you might notice why... Platinum Games' Bayonetta (PS3, 360) gets an anime adaptation from GONZO - a Japanese anime studio formed by former Gainax (Neon Genesis Evangelion) staff members. The anime will be launched 23 november on ten selected movie theatres on Japan - for two weeks.
Also Bayonetta 2 will be launched for Wii U in 2014.

[Louis C.K.] Why I won't get a phone for my kids
I think these things are toxic, especially for kids...they don't look at people when they talk to them and they don't build empathy. You know, kids are mean, and it's 'cause they're trying it out. They look at a kid and they go, 'you're fat,' and then they see the kid's face scrunch up and they go, 'oh, that doesn't feel good to make a person do that.' But they got to start with doing the mean thing. But when they write 'you're fat,' then they just go, 'mmm, that was fun, I like that.'More from [Louis C.K.]
You need to build an ability to just be yourself and not be doing something. That's what the phones are taking away, is the ability to just sit there. That's being a person. Because underneath everything in your life there is that thing, that empty—forever empty. That knowledge that it's all for nothing and that you're alone. It's down there.
And sometimes when things clear away, you're not watching anything, you're in your car, and you start going, 'oh no, here it comes. That I'm alone.' It's starts to visit on you. Just this sadness. Life is tremendously sad, just by being in it...
That's why we text and drive. I look around, pretty much 100 percent of the people driving are texting. And they're killing, everybody's murdering each other with their cars. But people are willing to risk taking a life and ruining their own because they don't want to be alone for a second because it's so hard.
And I go, 'oh, I'm getting sad, gotta get the phone and write "hi" to like 50 people'...then I said, 'you know what, don't. Just be sad. Just let the sadness, stand in the way of it, and let it hit you like a truck.'
And I let it come, and I just started to feel 'oh my God,'and I pulled over and I just cried like a bitch. I cried so much. And it was beautiful. Sadness is poetic. You're lucky to live sad moments.
And then I had happy feelings. Because when you let yourself feel sad, your body has antibodies, it has happiness that comes rushing in to meet the sadness. So I was grateful to feel sad, and then I met it with true, profound happiness. It was such a trip.
The thing is, because we don't want that first bit of sad, we push it away with a little phone or a jack-off or the food. You never feel completely sad or completely happy, you just feel kinda satisfied with your product, and then you die. So that's why I don't want to get a phone for my kids. - Louis C.K.

Gel-based Audio Speaker
two major advantages of ionic conductors are that they can be very stretchy and completely transparent, two properties difficult to achieve with electronics |
To make the speaker, a membrane of transparent, insulating rubber is sandwiched between two layers of transparent, conductive gel. The electrical connection to the power source is established outside of the active region of the device, where it does not need to be transparent. The Harvard team responsible for this research will now focus on the best combinations of ionic conductive materials for compatibility, long life and adhesion between the layers.
This research was supported by the National Science Foundation through a grant to the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center at Harvard University (DMR-0820484) and by the Army Research Office (W911NF-09-1-0476). It was also enabled in part by the Department of Energy (ER45852) and the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), Singapore.

The Most Quoted Man in News
Without any skill or expertise, Greg Packer has been quoted by media outlets a lot. He’s spoken to reporters on subjects ranging from the war in Iraq to first iPhone release since 1995. Even the Associated Press sent its staff a memo banning interviews with him.

[Olympics] Tokyo 2020, uh. Well, since 1988! 『アキラ』
So, Japan has been chosen to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games? Beating Istanbul and Madrid. Cool.
But...uh.... that is no news at all. Do you remember Akira?
In the 1988 japanese animation Akira, is stated that the 2020 Olympics will be held there.
The 2020 Neo-Tokyo Olympic Games are the first such games to be held since the start of the Third World War. The Neo-Tokyo Olympic Stadium was constructed for use during the games.
Some crazy edition of the movie with Olympic reference:

[Studio Ghibli] Hayao Miyazaki retires
The japanese animation and manga master, Hayao Miyazaki is retiring. He is the head of Studio Ghibli. If you don't know, hell, dudes, how come? Does the iconic image of Totoro on a bus stop with an umbrella doesn't ring a bell? The breathtaking Chihiro adventures? Ponyo? Lupin the Third? C'mon!
Have you ever heard about? This guy put Disney in his pocket. I will not prolong on his legacy, if you are reading this right now, you have the mission to watch some of his work! His last film will be The Wind Rises, launched July 20th in Japan and will be launched September 28th in USA. Probably he were chagrin by the critics he received about his last movie. Everything got a political tone. Too understand better, back in 2008, Miyazaki celebrates the innocence of children and criticise the Japanese Nationalism that was rising:
warchildPost explain, but it is heavy:
>>Comfort Women 慰安婦
Back in World War II, Japan was accused from abducting women from countries were Japan was under Imperial control. In many cases, they were lured with promises of work. They were incarcerated in "comfort stations" and coerced into Japanese military sex slavery. Yeah, that bad guys.
And the critics were heavy, boy:
“Why don’t you pay the comfort woman with the profits from your movie?”
“Wouldn’t it be good to ban the movie that this traitor created?”
“That’s it! Ghibli’s finished”
“Well, there goes my desire to see this movie,”
“I’m really disappointed in Miyazaki,”
“I want him to stop saying political things,”
“I only wanted to see it free of any preconceptions…”
And now the man announces this was his final movie. Maybe this was too hard for him. See the country that he was born, loved and also put on spot with his brilliant movies - yeah, Japan... people generally talks about you using all the crazy ass weird stuff you make, Miyazaki put what you guys have the best with brilliancy... hah...and I've learned you were the people of honour. Looks like a bunch with pride, only empty pride. But, who am I to say, uh? Fucking brazilian.
Hayao Miyazaki statements revealed he is connected with the World as a planet, not a Japanese-only view. So I hope he don't take these national critics too hard, and know that the planet still loves his work. Respect.
The retirement was announced at Venice International Film Festival, and it seems to suggest that he will continue with some role at Studio Ghibli. We will miss you!

"We need to liberate our children from nationalism," Miyazaki said. "The nationalistic view suggests the problems in the world come from its multi-ethnicity. [It] creates a possibility for the country we love to turn into something negative for the world as a whole. This is a lesson we learned from the past war and which we cannot forget."In a recent article on a monthly magazine by Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki also called plans to amend the Constitution "outrageous" and give strong comments about territorial issues with China and South Korea, and also said that Japan should apology to these countries about "comfort women" issue.

“For the comfort woman issue, because it’s a question of each nation’s pride, a proper apology should be given and suitable reparations should be paid. (...) As for the territorial problem, they should either be split in half or there should be a proposal to ‘control them jointly.(...)A nuclear covered country like this, it should never be allowed to wage war or whatever” -Miyazaki, said. Some nationalist attacks Miyazaki calling him "old coot", "dim-witted", "anti-Japanese", "traitor". The Wind Rises is a fictionalised biography of Jiro Horikoshi, who created the iconic World War II Fighter plane: Mitsubishi A6M Zero. After the film release some said 'The Wind Rise' was "great" and for adults. Children seemed to found the film "dull". Some people also attacks the anime as "anti-Japanese". And some people doesn't even saw it: "Probably already no good". Duh!

Sunday Smile: Games, Movies and Food
Some nice pics to make you smile this sunday morning.
And also this video of Super Parkour Mario...or something. It is pretty popular in my timeline, but I don't like it tho... Parkour is repetitive. Mario can't keep the hat on his head -yeah, I know. But I'm that kind of guy, sorry. Looks like Mario is desperate searching for a bathroom. Luigi at least can hold his hat. What is the hurry? Jezz.
I would not post this video because I don't even watch it entirely.
But the video is here, together with all the nice pics above.
So it can be configured as a decent post at all. haha I should change the name to The grumpPost.
